Autonomic dysfunction and travel insurance

Hi

Following on from my previous post before I embark in asking for a referral from my GP next week can I ask those with an official diagnosis how this impacted in Travel Insurance

I have a long list of things that I have to declare and wondered if adding this would increase costs hugely and what sort of questions the insurance company ask in line about symptoms

For example when you declare EDS the question they ask is ‘ is is vascular type or other’ - assuming if it was vEDS it would be loaded higher

Hi

I’ve declared my POTS and the quote was ok with all the other many medical problems I put on. I think I went on compare the market website and selected the preexisting medical conditions and did it that way. They can give online quotes without committing to anything
