Cfs/ME and antibiotics

Hi everyone I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Karen. About 8 years ago I suffered from CFS/ME and fibromyalgia. For the first year I could barely move my fatigue was so bad. And the joint and muscle aches, constant infections, etc. Every illness was ruled out, I saw a neurologist and he put me on antibiotics for about two month or three months. And guess what? I was in a hundred percent remission for about three years, and then a cold or virus seems to bring on symptoms again but NOTHING as bad as they were the first year.

So my question is, have you tried long term antibiotics? They worked with me and my friends neice who was diagnosed with CFS and I kept bugging her to find a doctor to prescribe long term antibiotics and after eight months of her barely able to move she's recovered!!
