Struggling with my weight

I have had CKD FOR 12 Years and have managed to lose 4 stone in the last two years but for the last 4 months it just won't shift. I follow slimming world and a. doing the same as I always have but it just won't shift don't know what way to go

I understand how frustrating it is when the weight just won't budge. I too went to slimming world and lost 1 stone, since then I have regained the weight. I have tried again and it is not working for me. My next step is to try out the local gym, I havn't been to a gym for years but my friends go and it is working for them. So I start next week. This may not suit everybody but is worth trying.

Hi I was going to the gym but due to having severe arthritis it didn't help. Good luck to you.

Hi Frankie, I too did SW&lost 3 stone but since have a gained some. I can hear my sw lady saying make sure you're counting your syns properly &are eating plenty of speed food.I don't know how much more you wan5 to lose or if you're near your healthy weight,but know it comes of more slowly as you get closer to it.

It certainly is tricky isn't it!!...from one who's struggled with my weight in some shape or form for most of my adult life🤔

4 stone is a lot. If you're not also working out, you may have lost muscle mass, which means you don't have a good metabolism burning calories.

And we all hit a plateau in weight loss. I did for awhile and now I'm going down again. Good luck.
