Results of Renal Ultrasound

I wrote a while back about my first nephrologist stating that my kidneys were shrinking, Ckd was irreversible and progressive and nothing would stop the progression. I fired him and went to a younger nephrologist. I just received the results of my ultrasound and my kidneys are of normal size and unremarkable. I have gone through so much anxiety waiting for the results of this test being the first dr. said my kidneys were shrinking. How would he even know that without doing an ultrasound? What a jerk!

Hi, boon 1, Since I've gone on a low sodium diet and stopped taking Meloxicam and also losing 18 lbs., my gfr went from a low of 40 to 57 at my last check up! Hope you are doing well.
