Any thoughts on significance of this? eGFR at 54. 64 years old.

If your BUN is elevated, usually means you are somewhat dehydrated. And if your BUN is elevated your creatinine will be also. This can also affect your eGFR. Remember this is an estimate (eGFR) of your filtration rate with taking into consideration your age, gender and creatinine.
