Cordyceps (type of mushroom) to help kidneys?

Hi everyone, just been doing some googling and read that Cordyceps is a type of mushroom and it naturally good for our kidneys. So can anyone confirm this please? Thank you x

I haven't heard of this mushroom... bit things that are often good for us when we are healthy, might not necessarily be good for a renal patient. Check with a dietician before eating any x

Yes, it may have some stimulating effects on some aspects of the body but it also has contraindications with some prescribed medications.

There doesn't seem to be any conclusive evidence and its sold as a 'herbal or nutritional supplement' rather than a med.

If your going to take anything 'extra' inform your renal team.
