Obviously these are non-compatable at the same time but is there ay reason that anyone knows that patients on dialysis shouldn't use a swimming pool, or the sea in say the mediterannean for gentle swimming or just bobbing around? Also would the same apply to a jacuzzi.

Thanks

There is no reason whatsoever if you have a fistula or graft. The exercise is beneficial. If you have a line however, the infection risk is too high. Be aware of low blood pressure in a Jacuzzi, the hotter water can make you go a bit light headed if your BP is naturally low. Enjoy!

Which dialysis have you opted for??

You can but you will need to be very careful with peritoneal incase of infections. You can buy special covers to go over the tube. Best speak to your doctor first.

I'm on routine Haemodialysis with a fistula, so peritoneal probems not a issue, thanks for your reply.
