I have been suffering nephrotic syndrome from last five years. pl. sgggest me prevetion and medicines

Hello, like you I also have Nep Syndrome, the meds I take are the ones prescribed by my consultant to help control blood pressure, leg cramps, aspirin, stomach acid reflux, duiretics plus others concerning my Parathyroid and Aranesp injections.

I try to keep the Nep Syndrome at bay by staying within fluid restrictions - not always easy when the weather is hot, following a renal diet (lots of info on the nkf website, they offer lots of free leaflets) and trying to stay as well as possible. I always take my meds as they are prescibed, attend all appointments and dialyse like I should - I am on CAPD and dialyse 4 times a day.
