Deep brain stimulation

Has anyone had deep brain stimulation? Did you have a good outcome? Did it reduce the tone? Desperate to hear from others x

I had DBS Surgery at Walton in 2012 I have had huge improvement and brilliant on going follow up from Walton, the op has improved a lot since 2012 although it (is) was life changing op for me there is no going back the battery I have needs charging on regular basis but again I think today its very different I would advice talk to consultant and the benefits far outsell the negatives
