Join us in one of our free information sessions in a variety of locations and venues around the country

These sessions are aimed at helping parents and carers support children with dyslexia and related literacy difficulties. Parents and carers can drop in to find out more about dyslexia through an awareness presentation and speak in confidence to trained specialist teachers, helpline supporters, skilled volunteers and other parents of children and young people with dyslexia.

Sessions will take place over a variety of dates on Saturday mornings and some weekday evenings. They do not need to be booked in advance however please do ensure you arrive for the start.

To find your nearest session, please see our eventbrite calendar by clicking here: empoweringparentsandcarers....

These sessions are made possible through Empowering Parents and Carers, a collaborative project supported by the Dyslexia-SpLD Trust.

I am sorry, but there are no sessions planned for Wales within the Empowering Parents and Carers project, as the funding came through the Dept. of Education for England, however the Cardiff Dyslexia Action centre would be happy to give you advice and may be planning to run a session in your area. Contact them at Cardiff Centre (Dyslexia Action Cymru), 14 - 18 City Road, Cardiff CF24 3DL, 02920 481122, cardiff@dyslexiaaction.org.uk.
