I have been type 1 diabetic since I was 10, when I was 32 I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and have had problems with brittle diabetes since as well as kidney disease and a few other illnesses. I am also mother to a 5 and 6 year old born post chemo. I am using the Freestyle Libre at the moment.

Welcome Trish22. pleased you are getting on with it & not letting it affect your life to much. I have been T1 since the age of 3 & WILL NOT let it stop me. Now 53 & full of holes.

Hi, know what you mean about being full of holes.......Used to joke with my friends that I have had more pricks than a second dart board....lol
