After feeling repulsed with myself for many months for binge drinking I woke this ma and decided enough si enough.

Its great to have those moments of realization. For me, it wouldn't last long and then I will slip back to the old ways. Its always mind tricking me back to that incidious first drink. And then the craving sets in. I drank more and more. The 12 steps of AA gave me a permanent solution.

Thankyou and well done! I'm going to my first meeting Tomorrow. Nervous but excited. I never want to touch it again.

Awesome. People tend to share their drinking escapades in meetings the moment they see a new comer. Grab a copy of the book Alcoholics Anonymous if you can and start reading the chapter "More about alcoholism" and see how the alcoholics mind operates.

Most groups carry them. if not you can get it online. AA.org has a free access to all the literature. You can order them from there too.
