Hi Brenda.
I had my Stroke in 1998 at the age off 32.
The Stroke effected my left hand side taking out my eye, ear, balance, coordination, much much more.
I had Radiosurgery in 2004/05 which has left me with Chronic Pain down my right side due to nerve damage.
I have a right cocktail off meds which only take the edge off things.
Please let me know if I can help you further.
Steve.
Hi Steve If i can get my left shoulder to work after i have seen the specialist(my x-ray shows it is out of alignment ) i hope it will work better. The only i laugh about is every time i see any doctors they always assume that it has affected my left eye as that is my stroke side as i was born with no sight in it and have coped for 70 yrs with only one eye but didnt stop me learning to drive. So on wards and upwards as they say.
Hi Brenda.
Hopefully your shoulder should be sorted once you see the specilist. Fingers crossed for it to work ok,
Yes I bet that is strange for them, you have coped well for 70yrs with one eye. It's a good job that it was the left side, yes well done for driving as well.
Definitely "onwards and upwards"
Please let me know if I can help you???
Steve.
Thanks Steve will try and let you know what happens next. You keep trying
