Hi, not had the same experience but have had two blows when first starting HD, occurred with “sharps needles” and moving my arm so vein ruptured, passed out. Outcome really bad bruising around the fistula access, given a creme to help with the bruising.
Not uncommon when first starting HD dialysis. Placed an ice pack on the blow immediately to reduce the swelling.
I now dialyse at home and needle myself with blunts.
Dialysis is massive and takes a little getting used to, best wishes and good health
