HI There
Could anyone tell me if there is a provider of Home Dialysis around the Coventry/Warwickshire area?
We dialysis at home using a nxstage machine and might have to move to that area.
Many Thanks

You could try googling the hospital/ renal units in that area- you might find the information you need or be able to contact someone. Most units support home dialysis now.
Hi BabySparkle, thanks for the help, if you are looking for home dialysis as Nichola says. Have a look at uhcw.nhs.uk/latest-news/new...
Happy new year
Philip

University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire ,Walsgrave has a Renal Department under Dr Simon Fletcher. The home hemodialsis unit is overseen by Dr Dan Ford and has three or four nurses training and supporting HHD patients. UHCW uses NX stage machines for HHD. The HHD nurses cover the area and work out of George Elliott hospital, Nuneaton which is one of the HD satellite units. The others are in Stratford, Leamington Spa, Rugby, and central Coventry. Monthly material requirements are supplied by NX from Droitwich.
ASk your GP to put you in contact with UHCW Renal Dept.
I am an HD patient and until a year ago was on HHD. Issues with a new fistula mean I am currently dialysing in unit but I hope to return to nocturnal HHD later this year.
