morning...there was a post about being on Epo and not wanting to stick yourself. Well at my clinic they can go be u Mircerma in place of the Epo, which they can give u in ur machine if u are on dialysis, so this is just a thought and another option if ur clinic offers it

On my unit, EPO is always put directly into the machine.

Ok cause some people have to do shots, I did, until they switched over to Mircerma.

My EPO is always given through my machine

Ok, that's good, because I had to do a shot until they switched over to Mircerma

Most epo can be given in the machine if needed..

Well that's good to know but I guess it's a clinic by clinic thing. But in this pass year we have been getting a new form of Epo that is strictly for the machine called Mircerma. Thank u

I'm not on dialysis yet but give myself a jab of Epo every other week now that my HB has stabilised. Before I was doing it weekly.

I had no issue with injecting myself and would incourage others to do it themselves rather than be tied to more doctors appointments
