Introduction

Hi all you in HealthUnlocked land. I am well at the moment but decided to join HealthUnlocked to find out more after my wife had an UTI which developed into sepsis leading to acute kidney injury. She is out of hospital now and having haemodialysis three times a week. She has chest lines fitted at the moment but these keep clotting preventing good, full period dialysis from happening. Her creatinine levels are falling and we hope kidney function is slowly improving but will have to monitor her blood for the foreseeable future.
