Teenage hormones and illness?

I'm a seventeen year old female dialysis patient (as of last feb really unexpectedly) and I've noticed that almost every month this year just before I've come on, I seem to have ended up in hospital. This has been anything from about 10 days to just 1 but it seems like a pretty big coincidence.

Could it be related? I haven't mentioned to anyone at the hospital as it sounds a bit silly!

Hi justagirl, I am not aware that this sort of thing is related to CKD or dialysis but I do advise you talk to someone, don't be afraid about how silly the question sounds, the doctors and nurses will understand and help you. Never be affraid to ask.

Hope this helps you and good luck.
