My FBS is 108 and PP is 135 whether any restriction is neccessary . i am 61+ .

My reverred doctor has adequately advised you. You are on the border line and constant monitoring, continueing medicines and diet restriction with followups as suggested by him can be a solution. Never stop your medicines, even though your sugar levels are ok. They are ok because of the medicines and once you stop them, the levels of sugar will shoot up.
