can we control diabeties only by changing food habits? I take yellow jowar roti both at break fast and dinnar..By this I feel comfortable
Type 2 may be...but for type 1,not possible.
You are a volunteer & if you are a Type 1, why not you try the GEM Diet Special Regimen explained in appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...
Diet is the most important factor in controlling diabetes.Other factors like exercise, stress levels, lifestyle and medicines(where needed) all play a very important role.Diabetes management should be a comprehensive approach.
I feel, walking 40 minutes twice a day, limited diet schedule , medicines prescribed by the doctor, regular monthly patholgoy will keep fit. Symptoms like frequent urination, feeling thristy , eye sight disorder, cuts on side of lips, erectile disfuntion and the like needs to be monitored in regular course.
Sir
Thanks for this information, can you suggest genuine long wheat lest in india any brand name etc that we can buy for use will be very helpfull for all diabetic.
U have not told how many roties u take. Jawari Products such as roties, Gatka or ambali (prepared by jawari ground into small pieces ,not powder, boiled in water and when cooled add butter milk and consume ) is good for heath as well as controls the sugar levells when taken in required quantities. this is not to tell u to ignore u r medicines.
eating less cannot make your dead pancreas wake up.
as you eat anything becomes bloodsugar and sugar level shoots up. if you say no,then get bloodsugar level checked and proove it. once sugar level spikes damage will occur soon. is it ok if your neveres ,retina cells, kidney cells get damaged? this is what happens if you dont take right medicines and do good exercise with diet ciontrol
You are right that eating less cannot make dead pancreas wake up; but substituting breakfast & dinner with long-wheat mash can make impaired or sleeping pancreas wake up & work.
I have proved it. see appropedia.org/File:BloodSu... and appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel...
