my fbs 103 and ppbs 196 tested by a lab. Is it Ok? I have some doubt.

Actually fbs limit is 90 to 110 mg/dl and ppbs limit is 110 to 140..LOT OF STUDIES HAVE CONCLUDED THAT ABOVE READINGS ARE AT IDEAL CONDITION. LOOKING TO THE INDAIAN ENVIORNMENT LIMITS ARE FBS MAX 140 AND PPBS MAX 180.WILL NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM. NO DR. WILL AGREE TO THIS INSPITE OF THEY ARE AWARE .

It does not appear to be Ok. You may get the test done by a second lab also.
