New slab for Diabetic by ACP (American College of Physcian)HbA1c is increased to 7.5 to8.This is indicating as correct as our ancient level.

Today there is write up in Times of India reporting that we Indians eat more carbohydrates and so these relaxations are not relevant to us,as per opinion expressed by Indian medical professions.In my view,the relaxation approved by ACP is justified,since it is subject to old age and expected remaining life expectancy.No point in applying same reference ranges for a 50 year old and an 80 year old,for example.
