Dark chocolate has many health benefits especially protecting against cardiovascular diseases. I would say diabetics can eat dark chocolate in moderation just a square or two but not everyday. Due to sugar contents, you should go for a high quality dark chocolate that contains at least 70% cocao or more. If you are strict in controlling sugar intake, you can make your own hot chocolate using any preferred milk, raw cocao powder and stevia or a bit of honey for sweetness.
