Thanks for all the information LWMDR. I am a type 2 diabetic since 2000. My latest FBS is 110 and PPBS is 165 and HbA1C is 7.2. I abstain from sweets almost totally and exercise regularly and take medicines regularly. Do you think this diet will help me? Pl advise

The answer to your question is: NOT MUCH, I think. What you & many others follow is comparable to WIPING THE WATER DRIPPING DOWN A DAMAGED TAP; IT HAS NO ROLE IN REPAIRING THE FAULT!!!

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course. It will affect SEX life also, if diab is not contained. Diab impairs the glucose (SUGAR) & oxygen supply to ALL CELLS of the patient. You cannot compensate the resultant weakness with liquor, food or medicines.

as i go through ur experience and advice and handling the patient so closely.i feel ur doing remarcable job for the mankind.i am patient of sugar ,thyroid,bp,postrate,ankylosing spondilosis and vit.d deficiancy. medicin taken thyronorm75 ,half tab homiopath tab for sugar,contiflow d for postrate .atten 25 for bp,and anti oxident tab, i am 66yrs.wt.60 kg.recent report shows 85000 platelets.pl.advice.try lchf and regular morning walk . sukumar chaudhuri.
