Is there stem cell therapy for type2 diabetes? If yes, can somebody tell me whom I can contact ..preferably in bangalore
I am also aware that a research is going on abroad on stem cell creation method to treat impaired pancreas and it is hoped that it eliminates diabetes; would like to be enlightened about its availability in India, if someone could do it.

Study corresponding author Anil Bhansali, PhD, professor and head of the Endocrinology Department at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education in Chandrigarh, India, said:
"There is growing interest in the scientific community for cellular therapies that use bone marrow-derived cells for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and its complications.
