Your sugar levels are quite encouraging.Gradually, with better diet control and more exercise, you can aim for a lower A1c level and also moderate the medicine dosage. But be careful to avoid hypoglycemia.

Hi lili74,

FBS 91, PPBS 115 & HbA1c 6.9%. For those who believe that Diabetes is incurable this will look to be good. But as I see everything is not so good for you. A1c normal range is 4.2 to 6.4; anything above that indicates that the long term ill effects are bound to happen. Now it looks good because of your jogging & running. As time pass on medicine dosage will go up & a stage will come when you will have to switch to Insulin injection; after some more time, have both of them & still uncontrolled!!!

Now you have very good chance of getting cured. If nobody says it can be cured, or everybody says it can not be cured, come to me. Please have a look at this post healthunlocked.com/diabetes... and the web article appropedia.org/Diabetes_mel... and ask more doubts if any.
