please let me know maxgalin prescribe by dr for neuorpathy is steriod?

thanx for the valuable information.i m suffering from diabetes since 12 years .i think instead of taking prebgabalin i must control my sugar level.i was prescribed this medicine by dr for burning sensataion and pain in toes -ankles.after reading in this site i m trying to take less carbo.LCHF means less carbo but what about high fat ?what fat should be taken .plz provide me chart for breakfast,lunch and dinner.i m vegetarian dont take egg.

yes. You can reduce dependence on medicine if you avoid rice, wheat, potatoes and eat more of vegetables and items listed above. Moreover you will feel less hungry as there is no restriction on quantity of vegetables. Iam experiencing for last 3 weeks and my last two days fbs is 92,, 95, Thanks to varous suggestions in this regard on low carb diets. I hv also started advocating this to friends and relatives
I benefitted from the change in diet suggested by Anup, Have been managing the diabetes with medicine and eating less for more than 10 years as suggested by my Diabetician only ending with bouts of low sugar and erractic control of blood sugar. NOW itake only 1/2 tab glynace mf at night and my today's fbs is 85, My onclusion is blood sugar can be controlled only by what you eat. Look for all those food which have low glycamic value and eat your stomach full. Control with or without medicine depending on individual casses.
