anybody give me knowledge about HB A1C blood sugar test
It is not actually blood sugar test but gives information about immediate after effect of blood sugar increase. Sugar in blood gets attached to haemoglobin in red blood cells. HbA1c is the percentage of RBCs so affected. This may be adversly affecting the normal functions of RBCs. The value of HbA1c gives an indication of blood sugar level during the previous three months. There are 2-3 empirical formulas to calculate blood sugar value from HbA1c value.

Diabetes is a fundamental disorder. It is comparable with low voltage in an electric circuit. In both cases all connected subsystems will under-perform and will fail in due course. It will affect sex life also, if diab is not contained. Diab impairs the glucose (SUGAR) & oxygen supply to ALL CELLS of the patient. You cannot compensate the resultant weakness with liquor, food or medicines.
A DIABETESE PATIENT (also known as A DIABETIC) need NOT starve. PROPER or APPROPRIATE food can be eaten EVEN FULL STOMACH THRICE DAILY! Try to understand diabetes & conquer it.
TAKING MEDICINES ALONE WILL NOT BRING DOWN BLOOD SUGAR ALWAYS. YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR FOOD HABITS & LIFE STYLE ALSO TEMPORARILY TILL CURE.
I was diabetic from 2006; but NOT diabetic from 2009. I studied Diabetes thoroughly, because it was to solve MY problem.

To put it in simple terms,this test gives us the average blood sugar level foe past three months.The tests for fasting and post prondial sugar levels gives us a picture like a snap shot.But the sugar levels change constantly up and down.So the HbA1c test gives a better picture of diabetes control.The median is taken as 7.That means any thing above 7,you are entering danger zone.The higher it goes the risk gets severe.So ,ideally you should aim for a reading of 5.5 which is a very safe zone.But depending in age,other health factors and life style constraints,if you can stay below 7,the diabetes can be termed to be under reasonable control.This test gives us a number which we can aim to improve.
my Hb A1c has been found 9.4.is it very high and what i should do to decrease it.
