VAT relief

I am planning to have a disabled bathroom installed. I am registered disabled/chronically sick, having been a diabetic type 1 (for 54 years), have a heart condition, arthritis, psoriasis and am partially sighted. I receive PIPs.

Can I claim back the VAT on the tiles (floor - non-slip; shower seat - non-slip; shower tiles, also non-slip)?

Yes that's right if it is equipment related to disability you can claim the VAT back. Some suppliers have two prices one with one without VAT.
