Newly diagnosed Type1 diabetic here. Was wondering why it burns everytime I inject my Lantus?

Lantus is acid based. It is always going to burn. You might want to try detemir which is Levemir. I was allergic to Lantus. Detemir - Levemir seems to be working out just fine for me. None of those last 24 hours I split my dose into the morning and night
Mine burns too, but more in my thigh than in my stomach.
