Burning Mouth Syndrome

I have a Burning mouth which I have found is called Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS). I was about to get a referral to a Maxillofacial consultant but will have to wait until the present problem affecting us all is over. Is anyone else dealing with BMS and do they have anything that can calm it down?

I’m sorry to hear of your dilemma,it is a draining disease.ive had it on and off for 5 years. No one has definitive answers I’m afraid. A maxo facial will check nerve conduction if he’s any good and some people are low in vitamin b12 ,mine is a c2/c3 nerve entrapment (sporadic) but others have no definitive answers and are put on gabapentin or clonazapam.whilst you wait I would suggest getting lots of rest ,I didn’t have the burn at night .
