Hi, I had a an abscess in my tooth and was prescribed metronidazole. My tongue swelled and burned and came out in mouth ulcers and thrush. Only had 9tablets 4 days after taking last tablet still in a lot of pain so unable to talk and eat solids. Doctor said my tongue is burnt and just have to rest and drink fluids. My glands are swollen and feel extremely tired and listless. Been off work all week and not feeling any better. Never taken so many paracetamol in my life and that worries me too. Any suggestions please?
