My Dad had Menuire's most of his adult life but I never heard him complain about anything like you describe. He was diabetic in the last several years but coped well on strict diet. Sorry can't help more and suggest ENT clinic visit if you can.
Hello, sorry for your problem, but this is not part of Meniers, you do not say if you wear a Hearing Aid in your worse ear, it would seem your problem is an infection of the Ear Canal, it is called Otitis Externa, this can happen if you have very soft ear mould which heats up the ear canal and allow bacteria to grow, it is ULTRA important that any ear mould is kept clean daily, and scratching the ear is avoided at all costs, this can be cleared up, but would involve a trip to your GP, he can prescribe a spray, but please do not wear your hearing aid, till the infection is cleared, I may suggest getting your ear cleaned before you spray in your ear, as the infection may render the spray as being useless, as it wont get to the core of the infection, and get another mould made so you can alternate them.. Good luck
