My name is Liz and for 30 years I was abused mentally physically and sexually by my now ex husband. What is extremely difficult to understand is why it is taken so long for the CPS to act it’s two years now as I wait and wait for an answer from them as to know if they are going to prosecute him. If I was rich or famous he would be charged and in court but because I am an OAP to be partand have no money they are dragging their feet. It’s so absolutely ridiculous to wait and wait for them to decide what they are going to do. The stress is terrible I suffer panic attacks surly there should be a time limit set. I have written to Boris Johnston, his wife and the ambassador of Spain and guess what no HELP only a curt letter. NO HELP After the last beating I am suffering from Foreign Speech Syndrome as my normal voice has gone, and it won’t come back it’s so sad I feel so sad and lonely. I am not alone as I am a Christian and have an adorable doggy Shelly but sometimes it would be good to speak with people who understand what I am talking about .
If this is a new group then I would be interested in joining Take care Liz x🙏❤️

I really am so very sorry you've suffered like that for so long, it's very distressing
I'm shocked it is taking so long to get a decision from the CPS, it must be hell, can't they understand just how much you've been through? No-one would make a claim like that unless it was a last resort.
Living in fear everyday of your life with him is so awful, and I really feel for you {{{Hugs}}}.
You are in a safe space here Liz, so please feel free to pop in as much as you would like.
Thanks for your kind message it was very thoughtful of you to reply. It’s the waiting which I find most frustrating and stressful over two years now. Sunday evening I had a panic attack because I saw someone on TV been attacked it must have triggered the PA. Again thanks for your kindness Liz and Shelly 🙏❤️
