April is Parkinson's Awareness Month - Some of you know that I will be getting my assistance dog later this year. I wanted to share a little information about Paw-Pals and Cavalier Standard Poodles. I'm especially blessed to be working with Sandy Miller (Paw-Pals), and Ann Ringler (Charlie-Bear's Puppy Raiser). I'm also grateful to Joyce Lennon for raising such beautiful Poodles. Our daughters actually have two of Joyce's Poodles and have raised one puppy (Phoenix) for Paw-Pals that recently went to his companion, Claire.
Paw Pals Assistance Dogs is based in Colorado. PAW PALS is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Paw Pals Assistance Dogs is an all volunteer organization. They can always use more help in many areas such as puppy sitting and office help. They also need puppy raisers. Please consider raising a new beginning for someone in need. If you are interested in receiving more information or would like to donate please contact Sandy Miller, Colorado Director, at (719) 629-7723 (Voicemail) or visit their web site at Paw-Pals.org/.
Cavalier Standard Poodles supports Paw-Pals. There "goal is to produce healthy, sound, beautiful puppies for companion, working and service areas. We are very proud to have puppies in training and also graduates from Paw Pals Assistance Dogs. These highly trained service dogs are making a blessed difference in the lives of their partners."
