Parkinson's Awareness methods

As an alternative to the bracelet referred to by Cat00, I have a plastic card, provided by the UK Parkinson's Society, which slips into the wallet (CC size).

Useful for those occasions when the meds suddenly drop away and you need to explain..

Al, it seems a good idea to have the phone no. on it, too.

It looks like an older version, with the last logo on it.

jupeter ,

i went on to the Parkinson's uk web site and you can order the newer version, the one like you have

Thanks for the info, Al. I find the UK Parkinson's site a useful source of information - lots of downloads available.

I hope that one day there will be enough awareness about Parkinsons that people will come to recognize the symptoms, and not mistakenly think "old and shaky", or "drunk, high or drug withdrawals"

When you see a woman or a child without hair ( or a man who doesn't look as though he has shaved his head as a fashion statement) people now understand they most likely have cancer.

Not what you're looking for?
