How was St Valentine's Day for you? (Not asking for "Too much infomation" here btw, lol)
peace and quiet, solo, and i bet i am one of the few who did not feel intimidated into joining the commercialism that all the tradition has become
Took a friend to lunch to celebrate his birthday.
Handed out Butterfly Valentines.
Fixed and had supper with my 96 y young Mother
Had a meetig at church, the hospital now ready for bed.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'd completly forgot Valentines day. I have been redecorating the past week so have been busy. what used to take a few days now takes a few weeks. I even forgot it was Shrove Tuesday. I always make the dog and me Pancakes. I wonder is this a bad sign forgetting the days.

Thank all. I tend to agree with the money- making side of 'the tradition'.
It is a right con, but I do accept a few people don't necessarily buy gifts and flowers and still make it a special day to say thanks to their partners.
my neighbor came to try to fix my computer so I could play You Tube. Hours later and no luck. He did give me a valentine though. I went to my pwp NIA dance class and had coffee with a classmate. Then I went to a Buddhist women's meeting and we exchanged chocolates, cards, etc. Went home and treated myself to chocolate ice cream and strawberries. Woke up early today with heartburn. <3
