I salute all the men and women of our armed forces!!! I also believe that a President should not be elected if he has not served our country as a soldier of active duty.

This is an alternative view on the armed forces. The forces are there to protect the rich and powerful. UK troops need not be in Afghanistan, neither should they have gone in to IRAN, nor should they have bombed Libya.

The invasions are not designed to protect the people who live there, but to further the interests of the Ruling Class. The interests being OIL, Strategic Position or just Prestige.

The UK forces are mainly made up of working class youth who have joined up to have a job or learn a trade, and some believe that they are fighting for Queen and Country.

Just imagine if the Taliban had invaded Northern Ireland to protect the people of the province from the B Specials, the IRA and the UDA/UVF. What would be the reaction of the peoples of the UK.

The Taliban were a creation of Thatcher and the Military in the US, funded by the USA to drive out the Russian Army. The regime that was overthrown was breaking down the customs of the Afghan men towards women and many other progressive policies.

Since the 'West' invaded Heroin production has greatly increased. The foot soldiers are paying the price of the invasion with their limbs.

Ian Duncan Smith served in the Forces and he is dismantling the benefits the disabled needs, in doing this he is serving the Rich and Powerful. They get huge bonuses for gambling with our money, don't get thrown into jail, and the they want us to pay for this recklessness.

I salute the members of Trade Unions who oppose the cuts, and believe that a Labour Prime minister should have been acyivee in the Trade Unions and didn't attend a Public School.
