I have a terrible time remembering what all the abbreviations are. I really wish that those posting would be kind enough to not abbreviate everything! Especially for those that are new and those of us that are memory is not good! Just my opinion! Thank you for understanding!

There are sites o iine that hae the abbrebiactions and then what they mean. Very helpful. I used the a lot as a young nurse. Just "google" medical abbreviatioms. Hope it helps!

When I hear the medical profession abbreviating all the time I want to scream.

When I was nursing we only used very common ones , ie. URTI upper respiratory tract infection.

or MI myocardial infarction, etc. nowadays they chat away with abbreviations,

I just makes it all appear there lives are so full they are even too busy to talk properly.

EPSPs and IPSPs copy and paste the abbreviated link it should show you in diagramattical form what they are and do I hope it helps.
