I don't wish to be the Devils advocate, but surely it is not in the interests of the researchers to find a cure for anything including PD which makes hundreds of millions in profits for drug companies.

The only research will be into drugs which will control but not cure.

Diseases today are of such political sensitivity as is anything which can generate profit.

Profit means tax. Governments cannot govern without it.

Today we live in such a world of capitalism that has never been known before.

I agree, but I have hope that it can change and a cure is possible. I believe MJF is really trying........

I suppose we all have to try and have some faith.

personally speaking the experiences I have had with doctors and drug companies

leads me entirely to my conclusion.

I am in reality a total cynic.

It is not government departments that run hospitals or doctors surgeries

It is the drug companies.
