Parkinson's Movement needs 60 volunteers for a clinical trial of self-management technology.
Are you interested in participating in a clinical trial of mobile phone technology for self-management in Parkinson's?
Parkinson's Movement is interested in tools that empower patients to take control of their illness. We feel that better engagement with one's illness leads to better health in the long term.
In this context, Parkinson's Movement is involved in a project to develop new approaches to self-management and is conducting a trial of a new app intended to improve self-monitoring and condition awareness in patients with Parkinson's.
And we are looking for your help in testing this app. Your thoughts and input will help to validate the app for the wider Parkinson's community.
The trial starts in December. Participants will receive the software directly onto their mobile phone and be asked to use it for a period of two months. Before and after the trial period, study participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire.
Do you have an iPhone or Android-based smart phone?
Are you based in the UK?
If you have Parkinson's and answered yes to these questions, we would like to hear from you.
