DOES ANYONE SUFFER FROM FATIGUE AND NO ENERGY.. NEED TO GET SUPPLEMENT OR ENERGY FOOD LIST ASAP...HELP..
I sufer. And unfortunately i do no know what to do...
Yes, fatigue is a standard fairly common PD symptom. Stop and rest when you are knackered but discipline your self not to take excessive rest
That is you need to push yourself to keep going just that little more than you would like so that you maintain fitness and muscle mass. If I push myself to keep going then after a while, perhaps with the aid of a bit of Adrenalin then I begin to feel better, less leaden / heavy in the limbs etc.But you do have to keep a happy medium. Come to think of it this is just the same as for non-PD people. If you don't use it you lose it. And of course a bit of medication may be essential too.
Energy food - hmmm -save your money and just eat normally bearing in mind the 80 - 20 rule. That is if you eat well for 80% of the time then it doesn't matter too much what crap you eat for the other 20%. Further bear in mind that for best health and greatest chance of longevity you should under eat - just by a little. Never a good idea to overdo anything really.
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that drinking aloe vera gel helps with fatigue. Please beware though that not all aloe vera preparations are created equal. You should look for a product that is cultivated under controlled conditions and is approved by the International Aloe Science Council. There are hundreds of varieties of aloe plant, Aloe Barbadensis Millar is the most effective.
Personally I believe it makes a massive difference.
Good luck
I take provigal i call it my get up and go med
I use aloe, my brand is Pure Aloe Force, the blue version. The green version is slightly laxative. I agree with Pete-1 rest. I find exercise in my pwp classes energizing and also support groups of various types. My diet quest now is the perfect food to facilitate elimination. If I can go, then I'll be able to go
yes I am now taking two short naps per day now as opposed to one. I find a bite of chocolate or some ice tea helps. THEy are natural products too Keep moving! It is the best remedy. Its a fight but worth the effort.
