Oh my, this made me cry too - sums up pretty much how I feel at the moment and I really don't think those without Parkinson's have a tiny idea of what it is like.
Thank you for sharing.
I couldn't get all the way thru this video. Too depressing for me.......
Me also I want to play tennis and run again........
So true i think about this all the time when i see people running or just walking what i wouldn't give
It took a great deal of "inner strength" to make this video. She obviously has a love of expressing herself through the arts....and did it "superbly."
Yes it does "pull at your heartstrings" because we all are affected by this degenerative disease.
She may have Parkinsons but is "not" giving up, and is using this as a tool to help educate the public about Parkinson Disease. (That's my "take" on it anyway.)
To whoever made this video....."well done."

I came to the realization a long time ago that despite my aches, pains, altered motor skills and degeneration, I am lucky. The person who has bilateral lower limb amputations would surely appreciate using the woman-in-the-video's legs. No matter what sorry state my body is in, I appreciate it for the things it allows me to perform that perhaps someone else is unable to do.
I totally agree wordworks, sometimes we don't appreciate how lucky we are. But, sometimes, a little piece of me still feels gutted. Yes it could all be so much worse, I am so very aware of that - but it doesn't stop me missing the old me. It's very rare that I do self pity, but this morning watching this video just struck a chord.
We all have our good days... and our sad ones. I just hope the good days are memorable and long and the bad days I forget and are short.
THis was great! Thank you for sharing with us.
