does anyone get nausiated and half dizzy ater taking SESNEMENT

If you are referring to Sinemet, (carbidopa/levadopa), nausea is a common side affect.

I am taking the ER (extended release)} and have no issues.

I have also heard that when starting sinemet, you can take it with food to minimize nausea. After a while, when the body adjusts, you can take it without food. But check with you doc 1st.

I switched from taking madopar, which I had no nausea with, to sinemet and have to eat a cracker or biscuit with the sinemet otherwise I vomit...but eating a small amount with it does the trick.

I take it with food and if I still get a little nauseous I take crystallized ginger, available at health food stores. Or real ginger in tea. good for your joints too. What's your dose? mine is 25 mg carbidopa, 100 mg. levadopa.

50/200 ever since i went up PD is a different game nausea dizzyness some times i get symtoms sometimes i hit everyday not the same

aloha hawaii, that sounds like a lot to me. Maybe you can discuss with neuro dosage, timing and what to eat. protein competes with carbidopa in intestine. sometimes that's bad, sometimes good.

I always take my sinemet with either applesauce, pudding or something that will help the pills slide down. I do get nausea somedays, doesn't seem to be a pattern, just some days I am okay and some days I'm not.

MY doctor had me try LODOSYN ( ANOTHER pill) 25 mg to be taken when i take a dose of carbo/ levodopa for nausea etc. it seems to work for me
