Where can i find a list of medications that clash with my Parkinsons medications?
Your pharmacist and your doctor (neuro or Movement Disorder Specialist ) should be working together in this area. Your doctor should know what is best for you and explain it to you and why you are taking any med. I know the Aware in Care kit lists meds you should NEVER take and you may find what you are looking for my going to the Parkinson's Foundation website.
If there's a difference in opinion, I usually go with the pharmacist. Doctors aren't up on the latest development as much as pharmacists. They don't have time.
One neuro told me that my diet has nothing to do with sinemet and to not worry about timing of protein and pills.
Hubby's first neuro told us nothing about timing of the meds and diet. Just said stay active and you'll be fine. While staying active, he fell off a ladder! Learned more from the Movement Disorder Specialist.
