hi everybody just wondering if pain in my... - Cure Parkinson's
hi everybody just wondering if pain in my feet has to do wit pd cant stick it last few days any cures
Certainly can be... particularly if the toes are cramped and curled down due to dystonia.
I can only do this at home of cause but I put my feet in a bowl of warm water that is under my desk, I add anything that is good for feet. This also helps with the swollen ankles that I get.
are you taking ropinerole side effects are swollen feet and ankles quite painfull
very painful
i have just got some ankle supports from the pharmacie - they really are good as they stop the feet from curling inwards and the pain of walking on turned in feet is not good !!!
I had a bad bout of foot pain, spasms, and toe curling this spring. Finally a podiatrist helped me with this problem. She gave me several exercises to loosen the muscles in my calves, which were very tight and shortening. After a month or so of working with these exercises, my toe curl is almost gone and the spasms only happen occasionally. Can't hurt to check into it.
My husband toes are culing over especially the big one , but his poke up not down and rubs on the shoe . I usually put a small bandage dressing on them to avoid them rubbing and gettineg sore . He also has pain in them when they twist and mainly when he wakes in the morning he has pain underneath his heel . This usually stops once he gets out of bed .
I always see my chiropractor before I panic.
My right leg, shoulder/arm/hand pain that was supposed to have been caused by PD were "miraculously healed" by a few non-force chiropractic adjustments.
Both feet are bad, toes curl and my right foot cramps 3-4 nights a week, numbness and tingling in both feet and very painful right ankle
Don't know where you live but there is a cream called Anastasia Foot Cream, which I think is available on the internet. It is a bit pricey but it works wonders and lasts a long time. I also take Requip XL which seems to help. I am sure there are other pain creams out there which might help. I have in the past stood up so I could stretch my legs and feet, leaned over the bed and slept that way, Not fun!!! Good Luck!
hi tank u 4 dat i lile in ireland will try d internet as i avnt heard of dat cream b4 i cant even stretch wit d pain
I began with foot pain and spasms (cramps) in calves. Then cramps in toes as well. Hitting me at night mainly. Then it was occurring off and on during the day. Then the curling of the toes and twisting of my feet (turning inward) began off and on. My Doctor said it was dystonia of the feet which can happen with or without PD. I now get Botox treatments for this and it has been a miracle treatment for me. I hope this is helpful.

My neuro said it was most likely dystonia and prescribed amantadine,it worked. It isn't completely gone but it is so much better, there were times when the pain nearly brought me to tears. Now I get by with out pain pills for it.
dont have app wit my nuero till next feb
Hello Fishgirl any chance you could share the exercise regime you are doing to loosen off your feet and calves?
I use a tens machine to confuse my legs. It works mostly if I zap them at level 8. (smiles).
