I have developed red, white and blue pubi... - Cure Parkinson's
I have developed red, white and blue pubic hair. Is this normal in PD? ;)
Hi Barry
No, it is not normal, but then again, who is to say who or what is normal? But if you could find out how it happened, we could bottle and sell it. We'd make a fortune.
Adrian
Have you been watching the Olympics?
Yes and as we were closing in on our first medal I swear they were changing to Gold, but alas no ......we came 4th!
Patriotic thoughts have obviously been at work here! I'm with alllowercase - i can help with distribution - LOL! Being unable to sleep has its compensations with little jewels like this.
Are you a Rangers supporter by chance?
you could make a few quid up in Brechin today
I am a Liverpool supporter...hence the humour!
you would be a gr8 hit on the fourth of july!!!!!!!!!!!!
Possibly Patriotism syndrome! does the colour appear in any formed pattern?
i.e. Union Jack, Stars and Stripes.
Certainly a topic of conversation, but something that unfortunately you cannot show off in Public for fear of retribution.
I wish you all the very Best.
Yes sounds like Patriotism syndrome....thanks!
Hope it is not something in the air as I live quite near to you!!! Or did you get it from Sainsbury's?
Hi Sue, Yuk to Sainsburys!
Court, it would have to be Tesco's - their colours.
Al, I'm sure a few Brechinites will be rubbing there hands with glee. If you are not Scots you won't understand.
Oldtyke, You may end up with Public Pubic Syndrome or Pubes for short LOL!
Tesco's of course!
Old Tyke - the pattern would depend on whether we were marketing a brush-on version or spray on.
Court - It would not be in the air in a brush-on version.
All_ has anybody yet marketed an allergy free masking tape?
Adrian
Spraying on, or Brushing on. I bet it tickles!
Great post thread!
To answer 'calico' barryH's question - likely due to your medication/s - not your PD. It is a phenomenon / side effect cancer patients know well.
It is thought to be brought about by biochemical interaction within melanocyte cells in hair follicles either reducing or increasing pigment production. The medications may also modify the mechanisms by which the pigment is incorporated into hair fibers.
Partial Rx list : chloroquine, cancer chemotherapeutic agents, alpha interferon, cyclosporin, p-aminobenzoic acid, calcium pantothenate, anthralin, chinoform, mephenesin, minoxidil, propofol, valproic acid, and verapamil. Others include but are no limited to : blood thinners, diuretics, thyroid meds, and antibiotics.
Consult with your doctor/s and or pharmacist about it.
Most likely nothing to worry about ... unless it is in the design of a Union Jack ...
Carry on strong.
We could keep this rolling along for a while. "Be the first in your neighborhood to sport multicolored hair!" or "Come join us at the R,W and B pubs celebration" and we need a plan for the optimal way to display them :-).
Gran5 - The best way for display is to hide the word display underneath the word "competition", with awards for things like longest haircut, best design, and I am sure that all of you can come up with some better ideas.
The pub venue is a good idea, but, judging by the reaction today, the Albert Hall might not be big enough to hold everybody who might want to join in.

Sense of humour, love it, best way to fight this thing is to keep laughing. I dont do serious anymore, a laugh a day keeps the parky away!
TOO FUNNY! I just noticed the WINK. I blame my wooly brain fog blur. HA!
Facts are facts though. Medications can indeed change hair colour.
Still laughing ...
Hahaha Nouska, better late than never
Thanks for the advice though.
If this is true (and somehow I feel it isn't) I thought this was a serious site and people not to be made fun of. Please tel me you are not all taking the Mickey out of Barry H.
Its not true! It was just a laugh Jenny. Hey I've just seen Elvis in my garden.
