Does anyone know the situation in united kimngdom regarding the legality of Marijuana?

I too am interested in the use of Pot for my Parkinson's - I have enquired on another forun and got no response; it seems people don't even want to discuss it here in the UK due I presume to it's criminalisation status (I think it is still illegal to possess even a small amount for your own personal use!).

I am interested in using it in cooking or other non-inhaled forms for both Arthritis and PD - I gave up smoking (which along with alcohol I believe is more harmful) over 20 yrs ago, and don't want to start again!

I am in my mid 60's so not your average 'pot-head'

Could it be that Pot would be just a short time remedy so that you required more and more to get through the day?

I dont know, just a thought.

But if it is something that helps and can be kept under control perhaps it should be made legal.

I have heard people with MS take it.

Personally, I have seen what this stuff does to youngsters eventually, and they usually end up on harder stuff.
