Not for everyone, but had horrible toe cramps until 1st DBS operation and none since 2nd. Before DBS, tried but had no luck with picking stuff up w/ toes and had temporary relief by walking backwards, as needed.

Hi,

You also have had two DBS surgeries??

What was the story? (the public version— I know the hell you must have gone through)

Do you have a good programmer?

Yup, most of the surgeons I have investigated insert the electrodes during surgery #1 and the neurotransmitter during surgery #2. No hell to go through both surgeries went fine.

Yes on the programmer, too.

PS -why I mentioned the 2 surgeries is because the toe problem went away during or immediately after and before surgery 2 after which my electrodes were actually powered up. In other words, some of my symptoms started improving before they "should have" - just by the placement of the electorodes.

Hello, friends

Manesium (go slow with this or you will have diarrhea) and quinine, as in tonic water.

Magnesium rarely is sold by itself—It usually is sold as a Calcium/Magnesium supplement Once your plumbing is used to it, you may feel a slight difference. Or alot! Good luck!

I've had success with relieving my cramping, calf muscles, with a product called "Calm" by Peter Gilham. it is available at health food stores or on vitacost online. It is a Magnesium drink.

Hi, I have had cramps in my toes, and on the sole of my feet, If it is from lack of movement, or bad blood circulation, are your toes redder than usual, if so try lifting your feet up and letting the blood run back towards your heart. or soak your feet in hot water. also if someone could massage your feet. happy days.bye Danny
