Like the recommendation to save an empty bottle of each of your meds for a sample for an ER visit. We put one weeks worth of pills in each bottle in case the treating hospital has trouble getting an Rx quickly. The mantra "on time, every time, with the appropriate food or drink in the right quantity" has to be repeated to every person you come in contact with.

amen to that. plus it helps to have your neurologist's cell phone who can explain to resident that you (or your caretaker) are capable of administering your pd meds. if you're not capable, make sure someone stays with you 24/7. obviously arranged in advance of emergency.

We got our kit and plan to have it ready for the next emergency/hospitalization. Could have used it last year when he had his gall bladder out. I was amazed how little anyone knew about PD.
